Galan Logistics Reduces Its Fleet’s Carbon Footprint with Michelin Solutions
For Galan Logistics, sustainable transport is not just about declarations, but above all about concrete actions and measurable results. Data from 2025 confirms that responsible tyre management can make a real contribution to reducing the environmental impact of transport.
As part of its cooperation with Michelin, Galan Logistics has received a declaration confirming the results achieved through the use of retreaded tyres and tyre tread regrooving across its fleet.
Concrete actions, measurable results
In 2025, Galan Logistics:
- regrooved 85 tyres,
- purchased 144 retreaded tyres,
- reduced CO₂ emissions by 47.6 tonnes,
- saved 8.7 tonnes of raw materials.
These results demonstrate that extending tyre life and making better use of their potential can bring both environmental and operational benefits.
Tread regrooving allows tyres that retain sufficient service potential to remain in use for longer, while retreaded tyres represent a solution aligned with the principles of the circular economy. By reusing selected tyre components, the demand for new raw materials can be reduced, along with the environmental impact associated with tyre production.
Responsible fleet management
In road transport, tyres are one of the key elements affecting vehicle operating efficiency. That is why, at Galan Logistics, fleet maintenance involves not only safety and technical performance, but also identifying solutions that help reduce resource consumption.
Paweł Wójcik, Service Manager at Galan Logistics, is responsible, among other things, for implementing and overseeing solutions related to fleet maintenance. He received the declaration confirming the results achieved.

The cooperation between Galan Logistics and Michelin demonstrates that sustainable transport can be supported through everyday decisions concerning fleet operation. Extending tyre life, using retreaded solutions and reducing raw material consumption are all concrete elements of the company’s broader approach to responsible transport management.
47.6 tonnes of CO₂ emissions avoided and 8.7 tonnes of raw materials saved represent the measurable impact of tyre management initiatives implemented across the fleet in 2025.
