Galan Logistics supports the construction of wind farms.

Recently, we have been transporting equipment for mounting propellers at wind turbines. The transport has travelled from Denmark to Malbork in 3 days. In our company Bartosz Bąk – International and domestic freight forwarder – was responsible for the logistic service of this operation.

It’s a great satisfaction for me that we take part in such a great undertaking connected with the construction of wind farms – says Bartosz Bąk. The green energy market is developing very strongly today, with this difficult order we could show that Galan Logistics is a reliable partner.

The transport of wind farm components is a demanding logistical problem. Individual elements, such as the tower, rotor blades, transformer, nacelle, in the case of large power plants >2MW can weigh several dozen or more tonnes and measure over 70m in length. Transportation of such heavy and bulky elements is complicated, requires specialized means of transport and separate requirements for roads.
